Channel 4 Shipwrecked islander Keris Hopkins, 26; the blonde, bubbly girl from the Welsh valleys will join ITV’s Wales Tonight reporter Duncan Golestani to present the Awards Ceremony for Zoom 09; Wales' International Young Peoples Film Festival. The ceremony is to be held at the Muni Arts Centre Pontypridd this Friday; January 23rd at 7pm.
Duncan Golestani will be switching his news desk for the Zoom podium to present the 2009 Awards ceremony this year. There will be a number of guest presenters alongside Duncan including the Major elect councillor Margret Davies, for Porth, Zoom Board members and representatives from this years Award Sponsors.
Following her time on the Shipwrecked Island Keris says; "Well I’d love to have a career as a TV presenter but I suppose we will have to see how things work out, I believe now in reaching for the stars, as you can do anything you put your mind to!!" and Zoom are pleased that she will be supporting this years event.
