Watch ZoomTV last summer?
Think you can do better?
Like to be involved in this year’s project?
Here’s you chance ...
ATTENTION all young people interested in digital media! Want to be involved in the most talked about on-line project? And its happening right on your doorstep. Apply for the opportunity of a lifetime and your place right now!
Young people from the South Wales Valleys aged 14-19 years are invited to apply for a place on the all new and exciting ZoomTV project which is being supported by the Atrium.
Zoom, organisers of Wales’ International Young Peoples Film Festival, will be holding a two week intensive programme at the Atrium Building (University of Glamorgan) in Cardiff, starting on the 11th August. You will need to be available for 2 weeks (11th – 15th and 18th – 22nd August, 10am – 4.30pm). Your travel to Cardiff and lunch everyday is included in your place on the project.
We’ll kick off with a group of young people (hopefully you?) working together with industry professionals to create ‘live’ magazine-style youth TV programmes (think This Morning but better!) for daily broadcast on a variety of social network sites and a range of other digital media and community platforms.
Lisa Davies, Director of Zoom says ‘The young people will work with industry professionals, using state of art technology in a fantastic new building which is the ideal setting for nurturing creativity. Each young person will have access to a comprehensive digital media experience delivered by Industry Professionals, Zoom and The Atrium Staff. It really will be THE summer project to be part of if you are interested in the media … its going to be hard work, but loads of fun!’
To apply please go to Here and download an application form or email info@zoomcymru.com to request a copy - don’t panic…it’s only a couple of questions so we can get to know you a bit before we start.
Deadline for applications is 24th July so you’d better be quick!
