Jukebox Juniors Choreographer at Zoom ‘10

Zoom International Young People's Film Festival is less than two weeks away. This year the festival workshops are even more exciting and diverse – giving young people from the South Wales Valleys a chance to experience and take taster sessions in a wide range of media orientated events.

We are thrilled to be hosting two Street Dance workshops with the Choreographer of Jukebox Juniors - Liara Williams. Children in Rhondda Cynon Taff and Torfaen will have the opportunity to join in and learn to dance like the stars of the Sky 1 hit show "Got to Dance" with the teacher of the Cardiff based group Jukebox Juniors.

Fresh from the experience with her dancers at the Sky 1 studios Liara Williams will be sharing her experiences with our budding South Wales dancers at her workshops. Lisa Davies, Director of Zoom says "We are so lucky to have Liara at the Zoom Festival, the Jukebox Juniors just missed out on the prize in Sky1’s Got to Dance show, but you don’ t have to miss out on a chance to learn form one of the best. Places are limited so get in touch now to book your ticket"

The workshops will be followed by the inspiring film "You Get Served"! The stimulating and exciting drama about a promising and unstoppable dance crew from California who participate in street dancing battles in the Warehouses of Los Angeles. A must for all budding dancers!

Tickets for this session, like all our workshops and screenings, are just £1 and can be bought and reserved from the Zoom office (029 2088 5505 or jenny@zoomcymru.com) or by visiting our website. A full list and details of the festivals workshops are available on the website www.zoomcymru.com

Zoom festival runs from Tuesday 2nd to Friday 5th March. Zoom 10 will take place at 5 venues across South Wales; Muni Arts Centre, Pontypridd; Blackwood Miners Institute, Blackwood; Merthyr College, Merthyr Tydfil; The Met, Abertillery; and Blaenavon Working Mans Hall, Blaenavon.
