Learn how to make yourself look really gruesome using make up! See how make up artists in film and TV change people’s appearance by using latex, colors and shading.
Photoshop That!
Make a movie poster with the help of local design agency Octopus. Get some expert help to make your ideas into snazzy posters to promote your favorite film!
BBFC Workshop
Masterclass with British Board of Film Classification. The independent board set up the non-governmental body who have been classifying films since 1912. Why is Spiderman classified as 12? What had to be cut out of Star Wars episode II? Why are some films that were 12 in the cinema 15 on video? This workshop will answer your questions on film classification as well as giving you more of an insight as what goes on behind the scenes at the BBFC. You will find out more about how films are rated as well as going through a variety of case studies and film clips, followed by a Q+A Session.
