Tonypandy Community College are working with Zoom to produce this year’s short film to premiere at the Opening Night of the Zoom Festival on Tuesday 20th January.

With over 80 entries into this year’s Zoom Young Filmmakers Awards short listing films for each category has been a difficult task. With a diverse assortment of films from across Wales choosing a shortlist to be judged by the Grand Jury was easier said than done!!

The opening night of this year’s festival will feature the newest Disney’s family comedy “Beverly Hills Chihuahua”. Tickets are a credit crunch busting £1 per person to the screening at the Muni Arts Centre, Pontypridd on January 20th.

Lights, Camera, Action! – With over 80 entries into this year’s Zoom Young Filmmakers Awards the 2009 Zoom festival is set to be the best yet.

ZoomTV is an hour long youth led, magazine style show broadcasting for 5 days from the 18th – 22nd August.
